Abstract

The study aimed to examine the influence of attitude toward work on the organizational commitment of employees. To deepen the concept of the study, literatures were reviewed. The study applied descriptive assessment and correlational research design. The population was all employees of the institution. Questionnaires were used to gather the data and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The study found that attitude of employees toward their work and organizational commitment were high. The analysis of variance suggests that overall, there is a significant correlation between attitude toward work and organizational commitment. However, taking it singly, there is no correlation between attitude toward work and normative organizational commitment. Thus, the study suggests that management need to enhance employees’ organizational commitment through improving affective and cognitive attitude toward work.
