Motivated to care: Unpacking work motivation and citizenship behavior among employees

The study aimed to examine the effect of work motivation on employees’ organizational citizenship behavior. The literature was reviewed to support the study's theoretical foundation. The study used descriptive assessment and a correlational research design. The questionnaires were used to gather the data. The study found no significant relationship between work motivation and organizational citizenship behavior. The study recognized its limitations due to the limited population and coverage. There is a need to investigate further, involving a larger population and wider coverage.
