Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the influence of employee treatment on the organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behaviour of the employees. To deepen the concept of the study, literatures were reviewed. The population of the study were the employees of the institution. The study used a descriptive assessment and correlational research design. It used questionnaires to gather the data and thus, weighted mean and Pearson r were used to analyze the data. The study found that the employee treatment level of the institution is moderate. While the organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behaviour are high. However, the Pearson r correlation suggests that there are no correlations between employee treatment and organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behaviour. Thus, the variance of OC and OCB is due to other factors and not caused by the employee treatment. Therefore, the study recommends another study to investigate other organizational factors that affect OC and OCB.
